Secretary - Patricia Akers

This is my 19th year fundraising for Leukaemia Research, and every year I hope this will be the year a complete cure for this illness is found.

I am really pleased the way the New Club has taken off in such a short time. The support I have had forming the new Club has been un-believable.

I am also grateful to Peter Marwood from the Nottinghamshire Leukaemia appeal for his help and support.

I am very lucky to have a lovely family, Husband David, Son Kevin, Daughter Maria, Son-In-Law Mike and three Grandchildren, Jade, Samuel & Zara.

Treasurer - Philip Longden

Sandra and I have been caravanning for 16 years now; most of this has been spent rallying. We have had a lot of experience Marshalling rallies for the Caravan Club, and I am looking forward to the challenge with East Midlands Leukaemia Research Caravan Club.

My hobbies are caravanning. I am also a Medium in my spare time.

This is my first time on a caravan fundraising committee, and I must say a complete new experience for me, which I am pleased to say I am enjoying. I am really looking forward to the launch of the club meeting new members.

Sandra Longden

I have been married to Philip for 38 Years, we have two sons Kevin is married, and the other son Mark is looking to get married this year some time.

My hobbies are reading and caravanning.

Working on a fundraising committee is a new experience for me, and a challenging one.

Philip and I really enjoy our caravanning, and are looking forward to the start of the season with East Midlands Leukaemia Research Caravan Club, when we will be meeting all our new members.

Peter Greenfield

This is my first time as Rally Secretary for a fundraising club; I am really looking forward to the new challenge. I am married to Jackie, and we have a Daughter Dawn and a Son Mark, who had a liver transplant in 1988 which improved his health considerably, we have two lovely Grandchildren Holly and Lewis.

Jackie Greenfields

I have rallied with the East Midlands Leukaemia Research Caravan Cub for the last two years and loved every moment of it. The Committee and members have made me and my husband Peter most welcome this was what prompted me to go on committee and give the club the support that was needed to help raise money for the Nottingham City Hospital.

Mal Wells
