The East Midlands Leukaemia Research Caravan Club has been formed by a group of friends to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund.
The Officers and Committee were invited to the opening of the unit in October 2003 for an insight into the research undertaken by the hospital. The visit was a huge success and an excellent learning experience for all.
The committee members are all experienced organisers of fund raising events. Over the years, they have dedicated their time and energy to support various charities, including Leukaemia Research.
The Committee worked hard to form the club in a very short time, and today it is a well established club.
